In the 19th session of the UNESCO Inter-governmental Committee for Protection of Non-tangible Cultural Heritages convened in Paraguay, there was a decision to enlist the “Korean Manners of Dressing”, an excellent cultural asset of Korean nation, as a representative non-tangible heritage of mankind. 

“Korean Manners of Dressing” takes a great place in all cultural heritages created by ancestors as it shows the emotion, feeling and way of living of the Korean people and Korean dress is widely known to the world for its distinctive style and unique beauty.
