At that time no one knew why chairman Ye Jianying instructed to bring the painting which had been carefully kept at home to his sick-room. Even his family people did not have a different idea as it had been taken as the most valuable.  

He was helped to sit before a table and laid open the painting and said: 

"The great Comrade Kim Il Sung is the person I am most respecting. I think Chinese people should never forget how the President worried over and took his pains for Chinese revolution in his hope that it would go well. It was a luck and honor to us that the President visited China as he was still as fresh as paint though over 70 years of age. But my heart is aching so much, because I cannot see him for my illness."    

And then he wrote on the upward side of the painting “Zhi Zai Qian Li (Will is far away in English) Ye Jianying”    

This writing was made in praise of the revolutionary idea and lofty intention of the President after he had thought it over.     

Seeing him write putting his total energies and sincerity on the letters, Chinese people shed their warm tears.
