For Country and People

Chairman Kim Jong Il left his trace of leadership on the revolutionary armed force on Height 351 which stood in acute confrontation with enemy.

Height 351, which stood within no less than 1.2 kilometers from the enemy’s post, was a very dangerous place where no one knew when bullets and shells would come from the enemy.

Therefore, when the Chairman came back from his inspection to the far and rugged front, officials conveyed to him the earnest desire of the people who wished him good health.

Then the Chairman said that he couldn’t fell back, although it was a dangerous and rugged way, as his inspection was the work to ensure safety of the country and people’s happiness. And he confirmed his determination that he was going to walk any rugged ways if he could find any work for his country and people.

Indeed, as there was the long march of devotion the Chairman followed after keeping his iron will to safeguarding the country, today the DPRK is going well and widely opening the main road toward building of a socialist great power on this land.
