Let’s Go into Masses of the People

One day, dozens of years ago, Chairman Kim Jong Il went in the office of an official who spent his busy hours of working so often in his office.

He was in his office all day long waiting for phone calls that day, too. The Chairman informed him of some opinions raised in the people’s living and advised him that he couldn’t know specific situations only by telephoning and burrowing for documents. And the Chairman said to him that only when he went into the people, he could know well their need and desire and satisfy their vital demands in time.

The Chairman taught that the Party should know, first of all, everything about the demands and bottlenecks of the popular masses in order to make its correct lines and policies and that was why the Party officials should go into them.

Let’s go into the masses of the people!

The life and struggle of the Chairman was truly to regard believing in the people as in heaven as his motto and applied it thoroughly into the Party work.
