A maritime park on the level of national asset is exposing its magnificent appearance in Myongsasimni (a 4km-long stretch of beach) at the Kalma peninsula renowned as a scenic spot from olden time, which has been permeated with the devoted effort made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who defined the laughter and happiness of the people as the symbol of a social system and also as the criterion for measuring a national power and strives to provide the civilized and happy lives to the people. 

In his inspection to the Kalma Coastal Resort under construction in August 2018, he disclosed his long cherished determination to construct the world-wide cultural recreation center for the people in Myongsasimni at the Kalma peninsula flawless to all appearance, saying that he had long conceived if the people of our country enveloped in the sea would obtain the benefit of culture from it. 

He said satisfactorily that constructing the Kalma Coastal Resort in Myongsasimni was really a work he was eager to do for our people and that when the world-wide cultural recreation center rose there, Myongsasimni would surely be turned into a 4km-long tide of the people. 

That day, imagining the day when it would gain an attractive fame soon as the 4km-long tide of the people filled with their happiness, he gave a programmatic instruction concerning the construction of the Resort for long hours.
