Korean painting “Ssirum” is a representative masterpiece painted by Kim Hong Do, a Korean realistic genre painter in the late 18th century. 

This painting is an excellent genre work which shows truly the simple sentiments and optimistic disposition of the Korean people in those days, as it portrayed in detail even the mental states of characters with certain lines.
