There is Sangphaldam made up of eight big pools on the Kuryong Falls in the outer Kumgang of Mt. Kumgang, a famous mountain in the world. 

Sangphaldam and its neighborhood is made of a big stainless rock and round pools take places here in rows like a necklace with blue pearls threaded.

In the valley, pine and pine-nut trees, maple trees and other trees take their roots for growing in the gaps of rocks and change their colors to each season, which is so beautiful mysteriously as it goes together with pools and cliffs around.

Sangphaldam has a beautiful legend, according to which eight fairies used to come down there from the sky and have baths as it had the best scenery with clear water and one of them got to know a young woodman and lived there together so happily.
