Sea Chilbo Moon Gate, a Scenic Beauty of DPRK

Contrary to inner Chilbo or outer Chilbo, sea Chilbo is a scenic spot in which bluff rocks and cliffs along the coastline, fantastically shaped rocks in many forms and colors, each of mysterious rocks rising high on the seaside and large or small islets present a peculiar coastal charming view running against the blue waves of the Korean East Sea and sending up clouds of spray.

It is ten meters high and five meters wide.

When the full moon enters this natural rock gate which never keeps quiet by waves it is really worthy of seeing.

Sea Chilbo Moon Gate is not only queer but also of academic significance in studying the abrasion cave emanated from the zone where torrents of lava pour forth.
