National interest in augmenting the quality of preschool education is growing in the DPRK. It was shown in a Talent Contest of all kindergartners which took place at Sci-Tech Complex in last August 19-23.

The Contest was aimed at detecting and cultivating the inborn abilities and aptitudes of children in preschool stage and directing child education into the developmental education of their intellects.
