I regard it as a source of my happiness to have participated in the April Spring Friendship Art Festival eight times with a lot of famous artistes from the five continents of the world.
I have sung several times before President Kim Il Sung and had many souvenir pictures taken with him.

Every year it was a happiest time for me when I received a Letter of Invitation and created a song for the spring festival.
I would write the lyrics in Arabic and the members of the DPRK Embassy in Syria would visit me and translate them into Korean.
When I finished composition, the embassy members would visit me again to listen to it. After some revision, I would submit the song to the Festival Organizing Committee.
It is my great pleasure to have written myself every song for President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and the Korean people.
Today I have prepared a song for another great leader.
I hope the Korean people will love it.
I wanted to visit Pyongyang to participate in the 32nd April Spring Friendship Art Festival and sing this song myself before the Korean people.
I hope that my song will contribute to strengthening the friendly relations between leader Kim Jong Un and President Bashar al-Assad and between the peoples of the two countries.
And I hope this song will be a symbol of the DPRK-Syria friendship and friendly relations between me and the friends of the Festival Organizing Committee.
