We sincerely congratulate you on the opening of the 32nd April Spring Friendship Art Festival.
The St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra is the oldest orchestra in Russia and one of the world’s best orchestras. Throughout its 140 years of history it has rendered a great contribution not only to the development of the cultural development of Russia but also to the promotion of cultural ties among countries and nations of the world.
We are pleased that such a major cultural event as the April Spring Friendship Art Festival is being held in spite of the pandemic disease which has markedly changed the global life in the recent two years.
Although our performance is to be given through video recordings, we are convinced that our performance will contribute to promoting cultural exchanges, one of the main objectives of our performance tour, and the cooperation and mutual understanding between our two countries.
