Home / Ardent Yearning for Great Leaders

Congratulatory Speech by Head of the Song and Dance Troupe of Koreans in Fukuoka, Japan

Dear compatriots in the homeland,

In the name of all the members of the regional song and dance troupes under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, we extend warm congratulations to the compatriots in the homeland who are celebrating the Day of the Sun, the 110th birth anniversary of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, as the greatest national holiday.

Greeting this day, we are filled with the feeling of boundless respect for the fatherly leader, who led our troupe to become a Juche-oriented overseas Korean art troupe.

Last year, out of desire of infusing fresh strength and pleasure to the compatriots who were experiencing indescribable sufferings from the current global health crisis, the regional song and dance troupes of Koreans in Japan conducted artistic performances including those through video link.

My song and dance troupe conducted artistic performances on over 100 occasions.

In December in particular, our troupe arranged a special performance, titled, Wedding Ceremony, with artistes from different countries of the world on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the founding of our troupe. This provided an opportunity for the Koreans in Fukuoka to hold a gathering. We invited numerous Japanese people to this performance, thus demonstrating the excellence of the Juche-oriented national art once again.

In the future, too, the regional song and dance troupes under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan will share will and intention with the compatriots in the homeland, firmly rallied behind the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

This year, when we are greeting the 25th Congress of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, we will arrange song and dance performances in a greater number to inspire the compatriots in the patriotic movement. By doing so, we will perform our honourable mission as a mobile artistic troupe that grew up under the care of the great leaders.

I wish you, compatriots in the homeland, good health.

See you again.
