Dear compatriots in the homeland,

Greeting the Day of the Sun, an auspicious holiday in this year which marks the 110th birth anniversary of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, the creative workers and artistes of the Kumgangsan Opera Troupe are looking to the sky over our homeland, recalling with deep emotion the days when we enjoyed profound affection and care of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.   

With the boundless yearning for the Generalissimos and the feeling of respect for the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is translating the dreams and ideal of the Generalissimos into reality, the artistes of the Kumgangsan Opera Troup, the regional -song and dance troupes and the Union of Korean Writers and Artists in Japan have prepared a general music and dance performance.

Last year, despite the health crisis prevalent in Japan, we conducted grand performances on over 20 occasions in 13 cities, ranging from those in Hokkaido in the north to those in Kyushu in the south, sharing mind and breath with the compatriots in the homeland. By doing so, we implanted the spirit of loving the country, the nation and the coming generations in the compatriots living in Japan, who are braving every manner of discrimination and trials.

Even though we are living in an alien land, we will be mindful of the mission of the Juche-oriented national art troupe and make a vigorous advance along with the homeland that is making an all-people grand onward march for achieving a comprehensive development of socialist construction under the leadership of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.
