Ladies and gentlemen,

 I’m director of the cultural bureau of the General Association of Koreans in China.

To mark the Day of the Sun, I offer warm greetings to the people in the homeland who are striving for the building of a thriving country true to the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

The period of the 32nd April Spring Friendship Art Festival has come, a festival we have prepared with best wishes, praying for the immortality of President Kim Il Sung.

Although there is a saying, “Time will soften”, years have passed amid our irresistible yearning for the fatherly leader.

And I have prepared for the April Spring Friendship Art Festival with such a deep yearning and I recollect those days that passed as we enjoyed the special affection and trust of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and                             the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They showed greater love and favour to our compatriots residing in China than to those in the homeland.

They called me to the homeland before any others to stand me on the platform of honour to mark major national holidays and events, including the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, had photographs taken with me on several occasions and nurtured me to become a dignified official of an overseas Koreans’ organization.

How could I forget such immense trust and love even with the passage of time?

Fatherly leader Kim Il Sung, we are filled with the pride and consciousness of living in Jilin where your statue stands and also the firm resolve to return with loyalty the unfailing love and favour of Marshal Kim Jong Un who called overseas compatriots as members of the great people, and we will trust and follow the Marshal alone, whatever difficulties and trials.
