On April 8, Mangyongdae Prize National Martial Arts Games was opened in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, to celebrate the Day of the Sun.

About 600 men and women players selected from more than 40 organizations including Taekwon-Do team are going to participate in more than 60 games including Taekwon-Do, Ushu and Paduk. 

In the opening ceremony, there was a Taekwon-Do demonstration by the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee team players.
