President Kim Il Sung is the founder and builder of the Korean People’s Army, the regular revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK.

On February 8, 75 years ago, when the regular revolutionary armed forces was born, there were stormy cheers of "Hurrah” at the parade square. It was an expression of the boundless gratitude all the Korean people, who had been forced miserable lives as stateless slaves by reason of no perfect army, extended to the President who satisfied their long cherished desire to have a strong national army.
