Although war dangers have constantly prevailed for several decades, peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the region have been firmly defended and the Korean people have maintained the peaceful and happy lives. It is totally owing to the inexhaustible might of the KPA, which is inconceivable apart from the great exploits made by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il to build up a rich country with a strong army.
