China has participated in this festival by forming an art troupe comprised of a reputed symphony orchestra, an acrobatic troupe and artistes.

The National Symphony Orchestra, in particular, is a national art troupe that was founded in 1956 and has built up fine reputation at home and abroad for over 60 years. 

It is putting an emphasis on the creation and development of traditional Chinese music and on excellent portrayal of European classical works, thereby taking part in national and international celebrations and grand artistic performances.
