Established in 1973, it has produced art works reflecting the life of soldiers, and given good performances in various cities in the country, enjoying popularity with the people.

It also made performance tours in many countries on a regular basis.

In the past it visited the DPRK on ten occasions and gave performances. 

Three of them coincided with the participation in the April Spring Friendship Art Festival.
