On the occasion of the greatest national memorial day flags draped in black were heavily hung down in all units of the DPRK including central and local organs, factories, enterprises, farms and universities at all levels and even in the solitary islands in the east and west sea.

All the people watched the documentary films which convey the sacred lifetime of President Kim Il Sung and his portrait as a great man at their workshops, posts, schools and houses.

When the memorial siren blew all across the country just at 12 hours on July 8 all the people and the People’s Army servicemen in the DPRK paid a silent tribute for three minutes cherishing the most reverential memory.
