On October 17, 1926, President Kim Il Sung organized the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU) together with young revolutionaries declaring the confrontation with all imperialist forces in the world.

Anti-imperialism, independence, socialism!

Human history has not recorded any great man who laid down a fighting goal filled with such matchless courage and grit and magnificent ideal and formed a genuine revolutionary vanguard organization at his teenage like the President.

The lofty ideal and program of DIU has brilliantly been taken over by the Workers’ Party of Korea.
