Birthplace of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the Paektusan Secret Camp

The birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp where Chairman Kim Jong Il was born is the log cabin built carefully by soldiers of a small unit of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army in June 1941.

The Chairman was born here in this simple log cabin made by carefully shaving thick woods from a primitive forest on February 16, 1942.

The birthplace of Chairman Kim Jong Il in the Paektusan Secret Camp is the birthplace of revolution carefully kept in the hearts of Korean people along with the old home at Mangyongdae where President Kim Il Sung was born.
