Chairman Ye Jianying said pointing to the painting “Running Horse”: 

 “The painter Huang Yongyu drew it. It presents a vivid picture of strong force and mettle in a horse. I have kept it carefully as it was a master painting for profound meaning and excellent portrayal and decided to present it to Comrade Kim Il Sung I have always respected from the bottom of my heart.

“I am now presenting this painting to the great Comrade Kim Il Sung in my desire that he would be in good health forever and lead the Korean revolution and world revolution to the constant victory. And when you had an opportunity to meet the great Comrade Kim Il Sung send my heartfelt greetings and this painting to him, please.

 “I suppose this might be my last greetings to the great Comrade Kim Il Sung as I have got only a few remaining years. So, please don’t forget to convey my greetings to him.”

Delegates and their family people felt all again their tears welling up in their eyes for his true heart that repeated his request.

Not long since then, the delegation of the National People’s Congress of the PRC visited the DPRK and was met by President Kim Il Sung.

At the meeting with the President, Xi Zhongxun, head of the delegation and vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the PRC conveyed respectfully to the President the warm greetings sent by the chairman and his sincere gift. 

Those who visited the International Friendship Exhibition House which rose high as the treasure house in praise of the great men did not take their steps with ease watching the meaningful gift presented by a Chinese veteran revolutionary in his endless admiration for the President.
